Simon comes from a family where horses were an integral part of life. His mother, Karen, and late father, Ian, ran a successful competition and training yard. Simon rode from a very young age; riding in the Pony Club and competing very successfully on ponies before progressing to Young Riders and thereafter Seniors. A firm part of the World Class Programme, has been a member of the Senior Nations Cup teams.

In 1996 Simon established a partnership with owner/breeder Judy Ross that continues to this day, with spells at the great yards of Peter Charles in Great Britain and Jan Topps in the Netherlands.

Simon has been regularly accredited with bringing forward young horses and now with a brilliant team of horses and loyal owners Simon is looking forward to an exciting future at top competition level.
